Nevada Jrs. Volleyball Association has been a non-profit organization since 1985. According to article IV of the ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION, the purpose of Nevada Jrs. is "...to encourage and foster athletic development in the youth of Nevada, particularly in association with the United States Junior National Development Program, by developing various skills in team volleyball." Our philosophy is to train players to succeed in competition. From our experience, these young student-athletes tend to be well rounded socially, yet have a strong desire to succeed in the many activities they choose to participate in. They are also above average students who are competitive individuals by nature. Our club is structured for this type of athlete, and we therefore have very high expectations for our players. We expect them to be dedicated to the program and to be motivated in challenging themselves to be the very best player they can be. We believe there are many personal, physical, social, and even mental rewards for club volleyball players. Through building athletic ability and character, many former players have told us that their club volleyball experiences have played a positive role in their lives.
